The songwriter behind the quietest anthems of the harbor winter is coming to Studio B. Sora Lindqvist will record a full live session with a string trio and the room's century-old piano — five songs, no overdubs, one continuous take each.
Lindqvist wrote most of the new material on the night ferry, and you can hear it: engines, water and distance run through every arrangement. Stephanie Duarte will host the session for All Night Frequencies, interviewing Sora between takes about writing songs for a city that never quite sleeps.
How to listen
The session airs the following Sunday evening, with the full video following in our featured videos shelf. Forty seats are available for the recording itself — announced on the schedule page, gone within the hour, every time.
Bring silence. The room rewards it.
