The longest-running independent harbor countdown has a new entry at number one before release day. June Park's debut album Salt Air — recorded live in our Studio B over four neon-lit nights — premieres in full on All Night Frequencies this Sunday.
Nine songs, one room, no fixes. You can hear the harbor in the quiet parts: a ferry horn in track three, rain on the skylight in track six, and the whole night-shift audience holding its breath through the closer.
The first single
"Neon Buoy" leads the record — three minutes of glowing synth-pop about falling in love with the city's night lights. It enters our monthly toplist at number two this week, and the request line hasn't stopped ringing since the first play.
Salt Air arrives on all platforms Friday, with a boardwalk release show the following week. Harborlight listeners hear it first — as always.
