About the show
The Bayview Hip-Hop Hour is the longest-running independent hip-hop radio show in Harbor Bay. What started as a sixty-minute Sunday slot is now a weeknight institution: new releases first, harbor classics kept in rotation, and a Friday cipher where anyone in the studio can take the mic.
DJ Kathrina Glass built the show around the Bayview blocks that raised her — every episode carries a neighborhood roll-call, a local producer spotlight and at least one track recorded within earshot of the water.
What's inside every episode
- First Press — three brand-new harbor tracks, played before they land anywhere else.
- Producer's Corner — a beatmaker breaks down one instrumental, stem by stem.
- The Friday Cipher — open mic freestyle, judged only by the room's applause.
- Harbor Classic — one record from the city's rap lineage, with its story told properly.
