About the show
When the last ferry docks, All Night Frequencies takes the harbor. Stephanie Duarte mixes ambient, soul, slow jazz and whispered requests into four hours of radio that never raises its voice — the soundtrack of night-shift nurses, bakers, sailors and everyone awake when the city sleeps.
The show's rule is simple: nothing above a murmur, everything with a pulse. Callers leave messages instead of going live, and Stephanie weaves them between records like letters read aloud.
What's inside every episode
- The Crossing — the first hour slows the city down, tempo falling track by track.
- Letters at Midnight — listener messages read over ambient beds.
- The Copper Bell Hour — live acoustic recordings from our partner stage.
- First Light — the final thirty minutes brighten toward dawn.
How to take part
Leave a night message any time through the request line — a dedication, a story, or simply where in the city you're awake. The best letters open the midnight hour.
